Special words from Maestro

“2013, quite a beginning, of a year that will eventually take me to my 80th birthday. I have chosen this song, to include in my list, which I have done many times in my concerts and presentations, selected together with my great pianist David Segal. We chose the piece for the multitude of feelings and shadings. To me, this was the piece of a great psychological value, as I have used it for years, as a start up piece, to warm up my voice for the concert.”

“It is a piece which makes us see the stars, which we all have inside us. It is nice to find the value of what we really think about our audiences and of all these great memories of the past we always have one, which counts among our best. Let me begin 2013 with one of them. F. Moreno Toroba, a man which could see music and successful musical ventures way back before he has written them, never mentioned anything about this little piece of music. But I found this kind of appreciation in the many times I did this song in the past. Ay, Que Te Quiero!”
